Hello World!!

I have been on here in AGES!!! so a well deserved re-cap is in order!

Since my last post, I traveled to Japan and had an amazing time! I have decided to pursue a career in Japan and will be applying for a job there as soon as I graduate. I am about to enter my last year in college!! and couldn't be more excited about it!

-So that was a mouth full lol. Now I am once again on a knitting kick and cant wait for the fall to come in. I just can't knit during the summer, the heat and humidity makes handling yarn a death sentence! But now that school starts in two weeks and I shall be packing my bags towards campus again, my knitting fever is starting up again. Now I am scouting the pages of Ravelry and VougeKnitting for my first project for the fall!! I am soo excited! It feels like New Years again and I'm making my resolutions lol hopefully I actually stick to these ;)

I have also been thinking about starting my etsy page. People are always telling me that I should sell my knitting. I think its a good idea but every time I everyone else's work I get a little discouraged. I mean it's soo good. But hey you gotta start somewhere. So I am going to put my fears aside and hopefully actually get the page running. Wish me luck on my resolutions!! X)

Thanksgiving Break!!!

Sorry I have been MIA recently, the last few weeks of classes before break are always mini finals week at school. But in the midst of hasty essays and projects I was able to finish up my package for Vevina McFey. I'm so glad she loves it!! It was so much fun making all the knitted pieces and decorating the wrapping and all just in time to see the new Harry Potter movie!!!

Which I just have to say was an awesome, epic, dramatic movie!!! They did an amazing job, I felt as if I have already seen the movie because of the vivid images I have from reading the book. I definitely recommend it and would gladly watch it again.

Lazy days, home cooked meals, impending projects is what I am experiencing this Thanksgiving. I love being home and seeing my friends and family again. After this break i'll have about a month until I leave to Japan and I am counting down the seconds!!

Trip to Japan!!!!

Today I received my check and will proceed to buying my ticket for JAPAN!! I am sooo excited its quite ridiculous!! I cant wait to go!! especially since I'm going with my best friend!! My Japanese is coming along well, hopefully by the time I get there I can ask where to find the toilet =P

Yesterday we had a Graduate School Fair-> I aimed straight for the Peace Corps table. I have been researching information on the Peace Corps for some time now. I'm specifically interested in the Masters International program. With this program I would study for 3 semesters at a school on their list and then be shipped off some were for two years. Sounds pretty good right?? lolz theres more to it than that but thats one of my future goals XD!!!

SOOOO I have definitely been slacking with my posting but not with my knitting I promise!!! I just finished one pair of Axel Mitts and they are sooo cute XD!!!! This just might be the perfect pattern for my spoilee.

Blahhh

Not a good day for me. My best friend might not be able to go to Japan with me and I cant imagine the trip without her ='( I am being plagued my financial troubles (me and the rest of the world). I have soooo much to do and no motivation to do any of it. And to top it all off....it was raining today X(. I normally like the rain, when I can take long naps and laze around my room and do nothing.

I need to cheer up and see the bigger picture! But for now I just feel like Blah!
